Pray as one, with the world.

One Prayer One Moment is a free mobile app that unites Christians around the world in one prayer at one moment. At each announced prayer moment, everyone who joins prays the Our Father together, in their own language, for one shared intention such as peace or the hungry. You pray anonymously, and afterwards you see how many people prayed together.

Yes. The app is completely free, with no ads, no subscriptions and nothing to unlock. Anyone who wishes can give a voluntary gift to help cover running costs, but it changes nothing in the app.

About two minutes of your day. The Our Father itself takes less than a minute, and you can arrive a moment early to be still and hold the intention in your heart. The Gathering Room opens 15 minutes before each moment if you would like to come earlier.

The Our Father (the Lord's Prayer), the prayer Jesus taught, which Christians of every tradition share. The shared prayer ends at “deliver us from evil”, so each person can close as their own tradition teaches.

Every Christian is welcome, whatever denomination or tradition you belong to. You keep your own faith and tradition and pray together with Christians everywhere, united in Christ.

The prayer is shown on screen in 28 languages, including English, Afrikaans, isiZulu, isiXhosa, Sesotho, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Latin, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Ukrainian, Filipino, Swahili, Korean, Chinese, Indonesian, Amharic and Yoruba, and is spoken aloud in many of them.

No. There is no account and no login. You only choose your prayer language and your country. The app never asks for your name, email address or phone number.

Yes. Taking part uses an anonymous key that is different for every prayer, so your participation cannot be linked from one prayer to the next. The app does not use your location, contains no ads, analytics or trackers, and detailed participation records are deleted 7 days after each prayer; only totals are kept. Countries with fewer than 10 people are shown as “<10”.

Each prayer moment is announced in the app and on 1prayer.app, shown in your own time zone together with its intention. If you allow notifications, the app can remind you before it begins.

The Android app is coming to Google Play, and an iPhone version is planned. The link 1prayer.app/get always opens the right store for your phone once the app is available there.
